Our experience here ended on a bad note. The flavor of the food itself was okay. I’ve ordered hibachi from this location via DoorDash in the past and actually enjoyed it more than I did while dining in today. It seemed as if the chef we had just didn’t season the food adequately for our larger party. The noodles in particular were lacking flavor and tasted like nothing but butter. To make matters worse, while we were in the middle of our hibachi meal with the chef still cooking our proteins in front of us, a roach came crawling out onto the table. We literally had to kill it ourselves, and at that point everyone at the table lost their appetite. We had multiple small children in our party. Staff did come by afterward to apologize and helped clean and wipe down the table, but the experience was already ruined. When we asked for a manager, they came over and said it was the first time that had ever happened, which was hard to believe. What was most frustrating was how the situation was handled. Rather than immediately offering a reasonable discount, we had to go back and forth with staff about how much they were adjusting the bill. They tried offering a gift certificate, ice cream

The server charged me twice for 1 order. Then they charge me a 3rd time for a single order.... now I have to wait 2-3 days for a refund..... they decide not to give me any food!!!! I am extremely upset, and this is the second resturant I went to in this area that has caused me issues while ordering. I really enjoyed this resturant, but I will not be returning. Just made it home, without any food to eat because they charged me over $100 for 1 order of chicken and steak!!!!! I will never return, and I will be sure my friends do the same!!!!!!!.

Took my man there for his birthday from the time we walked into there until time we left. The experience was amazing. Karen was out waitress and server. She was very professional sweet kind and personal loved the service.The food was absolutely phenomenal. Loved every moment of it, will definitely be going back.

I came here with my family and had a really disappointing experience. The waiter had a poor attitude from the start—when we asked for drinks, she slammed them down and seemed visibly annoyed whenever we spoke to her. I understand it was a holiday and things can get busy, but that’s no excuse to treat paying customers with such a negative demeanor. On top of that, the noodles were not good at all, and the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. This isn’t hibachi, and it definitely didn’t feel worth the money. I won’t be coming back—there are plenty of other places where customers are treated with respect and appreciation.

Stopped in for drinks, only had clear broth which was delicious, so I cannot comment on the food, but my friend had the teriyaki salmon and said it was great. The service was so great. Ken was our bartender and he was very friendly and kind. Shared a bit about his life and made excellent drinks and recommendations. He even offered to take a photo for us. His service was stellar and he really became the highlight of our night. 10/10 recommend getting drinks with Ken and dinner at Yumi before any night out!!
